Julie Getty and Drew Schroeder are top producers for Century 21 Realty Group 1, Century 21 International's highest-producing office for six of the past eight years. They explain their success has much to do with personal experience and empathy. Talking to both of them, one immediately senses the passion that they have for serving their clients.
"I always focus on the needs of the client. Every situation is a little bit different. Every buyer, every seller is a little bit different. I try to tailor to what their needs are. If it's going to check out the schools, I set up the appointments," Drew says. "For some, I give them what I call the coast-to-coast tour: Zionsville to Carmel to Noblesville to Fishers to Geist. I try to put myself in their position. I've moved around a lot myself, so I know what they're going through.
Marketing GettyDrew's way
With 90 percent of their business coming from personal and company referrals, GettyDrew doesn't use many of the marketing strategies that other agents employ. "We prefer face-to-face contact. We do an Open House almost every Sunday. There's nothing wrong with the marketing that others do, we just find talking to people more effectively than other forms of marketing," Getty says. "We make lots of phone calls. We’re always in contact with past clients, and not always about business.
“We go beyond their expectations. We like helping people--whether buying or selling--make order out of chaos.”
Julie Getty and Drew Schroeder have spent their entire career with Century 21, because of its strong name recognition and other factors. "The size, the technology, the support staff is phenomenal," they say. "They offer service everywhere!"
With $36 million in sales for the past two years, GettyDrew is clearly making good use of that service support.
